What I have Experienced & Achieved in ISB&M International School of Business & Media is an institute where students learn the subjects of Business Administration and Media. When you look at the brochure you will find that they offer a course in BBA and B.Sc. MCAJ, which are Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication Advertisement & Journalism, respectively. But if you look into the institute and its culture, you will find that it has a lot more to offer. I think these 3 years of education in this institute is a very short time to actually absorb everything that this college can offer. It is not only about studying; ISB&M also undertakes the grooming of the students and makes them perfectly suitable for the corporate world outside, when we pass out. The training that I or any other student receives from this institute is incomparable on the grounds of exposure and details of the information and education. This college has kept me aware of the corporate and industry scenario at all the times, thanks to the exposure it provides which is very important for the business students like me. It has been preparing all of us for the real industry and corporate world. I feel that once we all pass out of the college and enter the industry; it will be more familiar to us even at the first go, again thanks to ISB&M. ISB&M is like a stepping stone of life. It has marked the beginning and the journey may be full of ups and downs but it will be worth mentioning at every step of my life, that I began here. They say a good beginning is half done, but at ISB&M we are taught not to complete a journey by achieving all its milestones. It is rather creating new milestones, pushing the limits and the journey does not end with a milestone, it just marks the starting of another great roller-coaster ride at the end of which, we are to come out either winners or better learners. The “L” word does not exist in the dictionaries of the students of ISB&M, it is rather said by the ISBMites as “I just found out another mistake that can be corrected and I will re-try only to be perfect, the next time”. That’s the attitude of ISB&M and ISBMites. ISB&M has not only taught me how to learn from mistakes, experience and achieve but there is a motto that keeps everyone alive even during the tough semester exams, and that is “Study Hard, Party Harder”. The ISB&M culture teaches you to be a learner and a party animal, both at the same time. I don’t think I could have found a better place for education than this institution. It has always been like learning in each step and enjoying everything you do and when you go wrong, there are the coolest faculties to guide back to the correct path. Where else will I or anyone else find an institute that teaches and allows you to learn from things that are not just books but life, experience and everything around you? Yes, it’s true, ISB&M ROCKS. At the end I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all my faculty for their utmost help and cooperation whenever I needed. For me a quotation fits the best for life as said by Soren
Kierkegaard that is "life can only be understood backwards; but it
must be lived forwards." When I was young, one of my dreams was to go
to college and enjoy every bit of the experience. I m a part of Isb&m,
now let me tell you what makes me in favour of Isb&m when there are
so many other colleges out in Kolkata. First of all which comes in my
mind about Isb&m is its faculty, they are so friendly to the students
as if they are one of them. It never feels as if they are a part of
the faculty but like family members, guiding us to the right path of
our career. Secondly this institute doesn't support ragging on young
students as ragging is strictly prohibited rather it teaches how to
welcome fresher's with a warm fresher's party, making the environment
more friendly. Thirdly according to me Isb&m has one of the best
library and IT labs than any other colleges in Kolkata containing
management & media books having a large number of industrial database
and over 200 computers operating in Wi- Fi enabled environment
allowing mobile accessibility, making it easy for students to
understand better and also giving them opportunity to learn more and
gain extra knowledge. Not only that its classrooms are equipped with
remote-controlled LCD multimedia projectors, internet networked
computers. It seems encouragement and high quality teaching is their
only motto. The best thing I like about this institute is that their
objective is to sharpen the managerial and creative talents in us,
giving us conceptual and practical skills such as self- initiative &
leadership, business analysis & problem solving skills, decision
making skills, positive and contemporary attitude, emotional
maturity, mutual respect and also with summer and winter internship
in renowned companies just to gain practical experience. It also has
a big canteen with best food at cheaper rates with LCD TV for time
pass in between class intervals. When it comes to college fests, it
is the best in arranging the biggest fests in Kolkata with the name
fiesta which brings out tremendous feeling of success, the sense of
achievement and feeling of pride make the students more confident and
competitive . This is the reason why I can proudly say that I In a
part of ISB&M and enjoying every bit of its life.

Faculty of ISB&M The faculty in ISB&M is one of things which I like the most. The faculty in ISB&M is highly qualified and they are very friendly so that students don’t hesitate to approach them to clear their queries. The faculty is always on time even if the students are not punctual. The faculty member are always ready to help us, we can easily go up to them as there is no restriction to enter their cabin. The things that I have enjoyed in ISB&M are its Library, IT Lab,
Class Rooms, Auditorium & above all its people. Seeing the college
library for the very first time overwhelmed me. It has got the
perfect ambience. It comprises of various selection of books from
both national & international standards. On the other hand, the IT
Lab is enormous as compared to any other business school. I've never
seen an IT lab as big as this before. It consists of more than one
hundred computers. Other than this, I was fascinated to see an IT
class room equipped with more than sixty or seventy computers, to
make sure every student has their individual computer to work with.
Our class rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art accessories,
making it the right learning atmosphere. I have enjoyed attending
classes and presenting presentations. Also, the college auditorium
grabbed my attention. It may seem no so big but it can accommodate
perhaps more than 200 persons. I enjoyed the orientation programmed
and V.E.R.B. performances in the college auditorium. Without a shadow
of a doubt, the college auditorium is splendid. Everyone here in this
college is warm and cooperative. The faculties are hospitable; I have
got to learn a number of things from them that I never knew before.

There are many things I like about ISB&M. The first thing that comes in my mind is the college infrastructure our class rooms and wash rooms are very clean and tidy all the time. Our library has a great collection of books. It is a very good place to study and concentrate quietly. I enjoy a great quality time with my friends in college canteen. After finishing our classes we mostly spend our time by gossiping and chatting in our college canteen. The best thing I like about ISB&M is that our professors. Our professors are always happy to help any student. They treat us like an adult; they behave frankly with every student. We have one of best college fest. In short ISB&M rocks. ISB&M's Library The best thing about ISB&M according me is its library, which has a huge and wide range of books which are rare and by renowned authors. The atmosphere of the library is pleasant and appropriate for studying. The books are nicely sorted in alpha-numerical order. The ambiance is comfortable and silent so that students can properly concentrate on their work. Laptop and Wi-Fi connectivity are one of the best features that the library offers.
